Hollywood came to OLP!

Hollywood vs. Faith - The Struggle to live Faithfully in the Media Age

A wonderful event with Hollywood actor Frank Runyeon on Saturday evening- the first weekend of Lent! This passionate Cradle Catholic came to OLP from Hollywood performing a moving act that brought you back into the times of Jesus...and to present-day Hollywood. He enjoyed getting to know some of our parishioners, a quick hello with the Bishop and Fr. Stan during dinner and interviewing with Real-to-Reel. Our own Carolina & Ari were also interviewed on Real-to-Reel about their thoughts on his performance afterward. Look for the TV segment on Real-to-Reel and on our website soon! A big thanks goes out to all of our parishioners who helped to make this a special event!

Observing Ash Wednesday at OLP.

Receiving ashes is a traditional way to mark the beginning of Lent, a 40-day period of penance that leads up to Easter. OLP held 2 Masses and a drive thru option with over 55 cars served in a one hour period to receive ashes this year. The ashes come from the burnt Palms from last year's Passion Sunday celebration, which begins Holy Week.

March 2025 Youth Mass K&Gr. 1

A big shout-out to our littlest parishioners for their help with the Mass this weekend! Father Stan was so appreciative with all of your help (and smiles) with the Mass !

And a special thank you Ari, for sharing your faith with your class. Our parish is grateful for your amazing, thoughtful care, creativity, patience, and talent in teaching these youngsters each week! We are thankful to have you in our Parish!

Youth Rally - Fun, Friends, Faith, and a Chicken?

The snowstorm didn't stop our OLP Youth from enjoying the Youth Rally in Springfield in February! They met a chicken (?!) and connected with new friends and old ones from all across Western Massachusetts. We love that they are building strong bonds in the Catholic faith with others their age!

Bowling with the Bishop.

This winter our Franklin County youth group, Grades 7 - 9, participated in this annual event at the French King Bowling Alley. It's an event that Bishop Byrne always enjoys! Check out the link! !t aired on   Real to Reel (TV Channel 22) on Saturday, February 1, 2025.

January 2025 Youth Mass

Our 5th and 6th graders did an amazing job at a recent Mass! We love when you step in and share your faith with us! Father Stan makes it look easy each weekend, but we know it's sometimes a little scary to speak in front of the parish. You nailed it! Thank you!

Confirmation Class of 2025.

January preparation for confirmation with local college student speaker who shared how to celebrate being a Catholic Youth. Each confirmation candidate then shared why they picked their sponsor and talked about their own faith journey.
